Work with all of year 7, delivering a unique and engaging non-fiction Literacy Intervention using digital media.
Over the course of three days (with three cohorts), produce a junior student-led prospectus - focussing on writing for purpose whilst considering a target audience – and a promotional film, focussing on oral literacy.
The whole of year 7 engaged in all literacy activities with the end products of a student-led prospectus and promotional film, used to effectively market the school to target primaries. This is now a legacy project, and is repeated every year!
